SAFETY NOTE:

When replacing a tank, always replace the mounting pads. If you don't have mounting pads, make them. If not the brackets are metal to metal creating excess vibration. This can easily break the mounting nipple at the spring brake control valve because they are much heavier than the relay valve.
Be careful with Teflon tape, the smallest piece that gets into the system can cause multiple device failures or leakage. Liquid sealant is preferred.
Replace it if signs of wear, stress, fatigue, or any sort of damage appears.
